Spend the day exploring the vast Serengeti ecosystem, tracking wildlife based on the season and migration path. This is one of the best days to spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Optionally, start your day with a sunrise hot air balloon safari (additional cost).
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater walls and heading back to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon for your onward flight or hotel drop-off.
After a morning game drive and breakfast, journey back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or nearby in Karatu. Enjoy the evening with views overlooking the crater floor or the lush highlands.
Rise early to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. This collapsed volcano forms a natural enclosure for a vast array of wildlife — including rhinos, hippos, elephants, and large lion prides. After lunch inside the crater, begin your return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
