Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Lujoma Expeditions representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxed evening as you prepare for the safari adventure ahead.
After your game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll head to nearby Karatu town for dinner and overnight.
Later, enjoy a guided canoe safari on the Momella Lakes, where you’ll glide past flamingos, hippos, and water birds — all with Mount Meru as your backdrop.
After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and underappreciated gems. Known for its massive elephant herds and majestic baobab trees, the park offers rich wildlife sightings, including lions, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park, then head to your lodge near the park for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots inside the crater before ascending to the rim and returning to your lodge in Karatu for the night.
Visit Ngurdoto Crater Viewpoint, and end the day with a visit to Tululusia Waterfall — a hidden gem in the forest.

Today, travel from Tarangire to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the 600-meter-deep crater for a thrilling half-day game drive. The crater floor is home to a complete ecosystem supporting large populations of wildlife — including rare black rhinos and large prides of lions.
After your safari, drive to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxed evening.
Return to Arusha in the afternoon for your onward flight or next safari destination.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Arusha. Optional stops include local markets, Maasai cultural centers, or a coffee plantation tour (time permitting). You’ll be dropped off at the airport or your Arusha hotel, marking the end of your safari.
